The wind blew as expected today but high tide came and went quickly in the morning, and it's in this short time frame that the best speeds were recorded.  I went to the other extreme today and took too big a kite for the wind peak which coincided with high tide, so I tried to hang on but I was not in control during the run. More lessons learnt.

I guess it was a bit ambitious to expect to get the hang of this wind strength and new spot in a few days.  It's due to blow tomorrow and the high tide will be later and should last longer, so I expect big things will happen and records should tumble; I too hope to improve my speeds by a respectable margin.

Tomorrow will probably be the last day of competition as the next strong wind is expected next Tuesday, which is one day too late.
